Great idea! I use various signs which look like a giant staple with a cardboard or plastic sign and stuck in the front lawn by roofers, gutter guys, politicians, etc.
Speaking of politics, I heard an explanation of the Latin roots of the term "politics" the other day: "Poly," meaning "many," and "tics," meaning "blood sucking vermin."
