I bought a Keltec PMR 30 last February and really like the pistol except for the30 round magazine that I and many others can't load with 30 rounds. You know with all the time and money and research Keltec used to build this handgun it looks like the same could be done with the magazines. I've just quit trying to load with 30 rounds and load with 20 just to avoid the hassle. I've heard all of the remedies for this problem like buy this loader, or load with 30 if you can and let them sit for several weeks to compress the spring. Or cut the top of the spring in the mag off. Any thoughts on this?

I don't have one, but I remember it was very tricky to load. Load ten, tap. then load five more. tap, five more... and so on. I bet it's hard with the rimmed cartridge and the amount being stuffed into that metal box.

Mr. Finger I have and no one has an answer. Some folks say they can load 30 rounds with no problem. I think that the magazines for the CMR30 which is the PMR 30's brother in rifle form has the same problem. It hasn't kept me from shooting it but it looks like the mag could have been designed to do what they say it'll do.

"Mr. Finger" is so formal. My friends call me "Which."
