Has anyone found a .22 cal ammo that is cleaner to shoot than others? Don't need to know how many brands you tried or how many rounds you fired, just the brand of ammo.

I think Federal Bulk was the dirtiest I ever used. I used a box of that and a box of something else I don't remember and one of them was really dirty compared to Remington Golden Bullets.
But that was years ago.

CCI has what they call "Clean" ammo. It's coated (painted) green & red. It was on the shelves in time for Christmas. They also have a Patriot pack. Red, White & Blue coated tips. It seems cleaner than non coated and of course some of it cost more.
