Not sure if they even can nowdays with all the environmental laws but, if possible, should Heritage make a rimfire Rough Rider available in chrome or nickle finish?
Part of me says yes because they could add the faux Ivory grips on it and have a "Lone Ranger" edition.
What do you think?

I think the case hardened finish is more attractive. I have had mine for years and it has held up very well. I have handguns in blued, black, polished stainless, matte stainless as well as my case hardened finish.

I’m getting to like shiny guns in my old age and would love to see chromed, durable finish on a Rough Rider. Maybe even pearl grips for that “Movie Cowboy” look. Years ago I had a Ruger Single-Six that was nickel plated. I stupidly let it go in a trade. Attachments:

I like the concept, but if the cost drives the selling price to high ....

I was thinking $20 - $40 more for a chromed or nickel version.
