Jan 05, 2010#2 When ever I pull back the hammer I seem to get a "Double Click" on the fourth pull. I've never had any problem with it. :dunno:

Jan 06, 2010#4 the only extra click I have noticed is if I pull the hammer back far enough to contact the frame Ill hear it.
1st click lifts the hammer off the firing pin
2nd is the half cock and loading notch
3rd is the cylinder stop rising
4th is the full cock

Mine's like DR's also. But if it's noisy I might only hear 3 clicks because the 3rd one is very quiet and happens barely before full cock. But I try to listen for it (and I'm starting to be able to kind of feel it happen also through the hammer) to know the gun's in full lockup before I fire it.

Mar 12, 2012#10 When I first handled my RR.22 I was very impressed by the 4 click action and the ingenious safety device - this caused me to buy it on the spot. It felt just like a colt I had when I was young.
