Okay, I guess I'll go first in here. I'm not a smith, nor do play one on the intertubes, but I did do a cosmetic modification on my 6 1/2" Rough Rider. I absolutely hate those laminated "camo" grips. I took 'em off, sanded them lightly, and sprayed them with Krylon Ivory. Could get me busted, since I don't have an import license for elephant tusks. :mrgreen: It really is more yellowish than bluish in pereson. I'm not a Photoshop expert either, and my attempts to improve the contrast kinda screwed a bit with the tint. Anyhow, to me it looks a darn sight better than the factory grips. (I know Heritage sells grips, but I'm a cheap s.o.b. :wink: )
