Is it possible to take that silly little safety flip off and throw it away? OR hide it in the box. Leaving the Heritage without a "safety".........I find it a pain to have a safety on a revolver!!
Thanks for any inputs.

Jun 02, 2013#2 Why not just leave it in the off position?

Jun 02, 2013#3 How is it a pain? You don't have to use it if you don't want to. I remember when people felt the same way about seatbelts.

Jun 03, 2013#4 Yes, you can take it out, and run the gun without it just fine. Leaves a big, gaping hole in the side, looks terrible. I have considered having a dummy piece machined to replace it, but instead went with Whichfinger's suggestion...just leave it in the fire position all the time.

Jun 05, 2013#5 IF I leave it in the "OFF" position there is a good chance it will get bumped into the "ON" position just when I was to fire it.
Ulmus pointed me to a posting with photos on how to dismantle the revolver. I'm going to give that a go.
Thanks anyway.
