first let me begin with saying that I love my RR22. It is one of my favorite guns to shoot. But....
as of two weeks ago I am getting at least 2 light strikes per cylinder. This happens with both the 22lr and 22WMR. Anybody else having this problem? I am a seasoned shooter and keep my guns well maintained. I spoke with a very nice lady at Heritage and will send it in for warranty repair when I get paid next month. All comments welcome.

Jul 14, 2014#2 Sorry to hear about the light strikes. How does the firing pin look?

Jul 15, 2014#3 The first thing I check when hearing of light strikes is that the center pin is seated. If not it lets the cylinder rock slightly and can cause light strikes. The second thing is ammo, try several types to rule out one being extra hard. Since you tried both cylinders and at least two different ammo types you may have a gun defect. When you call Heritage back ask for a shipping label from them. Even if you pay them for the manufactures shipping label it will be half the cost of an individual shipping their gun back. Good luck DR

Jul 17, 2014#4 Thanks guys. I'll give customer service another call and see if they will send me a prepaid label. As far as ammo goes, I've tried CCI stingers, CCI Blazers, Winchester and Remington. No matter what type I will get at least two (sometimes as high as 3 or 4) light strikes per six rounds. The center pin is seated properly with both LR & WMR cylinders. If I cycle the spent and unfired rounds again, usually the unfired rounds will at that point fire. hmmmmmm...
