Garbage truck took down a power pole a few blocks from here Monday and we were without power for a couple of hours. Gas fireplace worked but the fan didnt(duh). Not nearly as bad as people in Texas, Oklahoma, and points east. Props to the utility guys who have to work in this stuff.
