Mrs. Finger & I have heard all the horror stories about side effects so we were a little concerned about it. She got hers (Pfizer) Monday, and aside from a painful injection site (no worse than some flu and shingles vaccine shots) the only issues she had were an upset stomach Tuesday afternoon and a fairly sleepless night. I got mine (Moderna) on Tuesday, got the sore arm, a mostly sleepless night, and so far no other problems. If we make it thru today without anymore side effects we're home free.

I signed up on our Health Departments site, but haven't heard anything yet about when ? I got the first Shingles shot at the VA about 2 weeks ago, have to wait 2 months, after the first one, to get my second one, also got my flue shot quite awhile ago. My arm was sore in the injection area with the Shingles, but other than that no problems. I had heard the stories also on some people having reactions with the covid shot, but that always happens with flue shots on some people. I am, going on record, 100% for getting the vaccine. ! too

My wife and my dad got their first shots with no side effects.
I'm getting tested for it tomorrow because of a stupid persistent cough.

Turns out I'm negative!
Got the quick test. Only took 15 minutes. 😲 It was crazy, they had me go inside the lobby, wait in the lobby, and the regular staff met me in the exam room like it was just another visit. I was expecting to have to stay in my truck and have someone in a full hazmat suit come out at do the test.

Try to stay that way, eh?

It hasn't been standard procedure in a long time here.
I'm gonna try. I figure my shot won't come till June.
