I was gifted a Heritage Rough Rider that some one had taken apart and lost some parts. I’ve got it back together except the hand and hand spring that’s on order. My question is that the bolt doesn’t engage,it’s like it has no spring pressure on it but the trigger/bolt spring appears to be fine. Does the hand interact with the bolt in anyway? Looking at it it doesn’t appear to.

Apr 24, 2019#5 So after more investigation I discovered that the trigger bolt spring had been bent out of shape. Bent it back and it works now. Just gonna order a new one and be done with it
