Good choice! Plus you only need to carry one cartridge caliber.

A small caliber handgun would be very handy, especially when I'm also carrying a large bore rifle. Part of me says I'd want a 22 rifle, but in their situation that would not have been handy.I don't know a lot about being very cold. I have always lived where its hot 9 months of the year. A revolver might have an advantage there.[ less moving parts to freeze up.] DR
