Another one bites the dust!!! Second Rough Rider I have had to send back...at least this one I sent back before signing to receive it!!! Should have taken a picture of it....the trigger was cocked way left and did not even come close to striking to fire. How does crap like this pass QC and leave any firearms manufacture?.......and should never be accepted by an on line dealer to sell to people either!!!

Well I should have know better....buying a Heritage firearm needs to be done at a local gun shop and not from an online dealer. To many problems with QC to be playing the back and forth shipping games. Problem is many of the specialty grip models are sold by online dealers only. I can get a regular Cocobolo grip model down the street at Rural King if that was all I wanted. Well that is another can of worms with RK too. They will not let you handle a firearm with out a trigger guard installed. That right there would have been a problem as well with the bent hammer on the one I was going to buy.

I'm shocked the store didn't catch it before putting it on the shelf.
It's bad enough to miss the QC at the factory but at the store too?

Well like I said this is twice I bought one on online that was defective. Both were ones with special TALO grips also. Bought two with reg stock Cocobolo grips from Buds and both were in perfect condition.

That is so weird that the fancy ones are the defective ones.
